--,

I have Aetna in Texas. Here the insurance company has two weeks to

acknowledge that they have received the paperwork and then two more

weeks to approve or deny. That may vary with each state and the

requirement they put on the insurance company. Aetna is very rigid

about documentation here. Good luck. I should be hearing something

in the next two weeks about my (hopefully) approval.

Have a great weekend!

--Andra,

I live in Fort Worth. I am pre-op waiting for insurance approval and

an okay from the cardiologist. If all works well, I could have the

surgery about the first of March. My surgeon is Dr. son

at Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas. I have been working on this

since last May. I am trying not to get my hopes up too far. Aetna

has to approve or deny in the next two weeks. My surgeon's office

said my documentation looks good so cross your fingers.

Are you in Texas also.
