Well, My Surgeon Called With the Pathologist Report (Sigh)

My surgeon just called and said that she has a " mixed bag " with the

path. report. She got clean margins on the lumpectomy but further

staining on the sentinel nodes shows 1 node with micrometasis (IHC

staining). She wants to schedule me for a full node dissection as

soon as possible.

The path report also upgraded the tumor grade from 2 to 3 as it is

showing a much higher mitosis than the path report from the biopsy.

I don't know whether I feel like crying or throwing up.
