Guest guest
I have backache and I think of this as a symptom of fibroids or the ovarian cyst. When I mentioned it to my general practitioner she didn't seem to think it was fibroids. Is my type of backache the same as other people's here? I get it in the lower back, below the waistline and usually on the right side (the side of my cyst). More recently it's been accompanied by pain on my front as well, where the fibroids or cyst might well be (within the pelvic girdle). I will wake up in the morning with a mild backache (Not worse than one out of 10) and if I go out shopping or for a walk, the backache will get steadily worse, especially if I bend down a lot. I end up feeling as you do when you've begun to pull a muscle. At it's worst jarring movements like walking on uneven surfaces can hurt. You just want to go home. Once home I sit on the sofa with a cushion in the small of my back and keep warm. It then eases up and fades away. I suspect that these backaches only come on certain days in the month, but haven't checked out the pattern in my diary yet. It's sod's law that they'll coincide with visitors or when I really wanted to enjoy shopping. Someone on another forum speculated that it might be affected by eating large meals too. Are your backaches the same or different?
