Guest guest
Hi all I was watching the news last night here in Toronto and apparently some researchers here in Toronto have developed a new " no needle " way to give injections. The news piece centred around a diabetic girl who has to give herself a shot every day. But, hey, that's us too!! Anyway, the premise of this device, is.......it looks very much like an inject ease except you load this device with POWDER (so the immunizations like DPT, or Polio, or GH, or insulin has to be in powder form) and this device puts the powder under the skin to be absorbed. I hoped there would be more on it in our newspapers today, but no such luck. I'll let you know if I hear more. I think they are still a ways away from approval, but it's being hailed as a major breakthrough for children who have needle phobias. Just thought I'd let you know.
