Hi Carla,

Ive never heard of this happening, I have never had this happening, but, I hope that you will be well soon and it will stop.

Please let us know what happens.

Stay blessed,

Bleeding all month

Hi everyone,I have had very strong periods since last May. I talked to my doctor and she changed my birth control pills and tested me for thyorid, which came out normal. Now I have been bleeding for almos a month, even though I am taking the pills.I am going for an ultrassound after thanksgiving, but I was wondering if anyone here has had anything like that. Could it have anything to do with VVS?**IF REPLYING TO THIS POST, PLEASE REMOVE ORIGINAL POST, THANKS**Our HOME page is http://groups.yahoo.com/group/VulvarDisordersto search our archives, files, articles, etc.***

I am wondering why your doctor is waiting so long for the ultrasound. Are you

bleeding heavily or just spotting? It seems to me that if you are bleeding very

much perhaps your doctor does not understand what is going on. Is she a

conventional doctor or some other kind.

Hi Ora,I would like to know why too. They say they are full until the 29. I keep calling to see if they can take me some other time sooner.I am not bleeding heavily, but it's not spotting either. Something in between. She is an obgyn.Carlataurusrc@... escreveu: I am wondering why your doctor is waiting so long for the ultrasound. Are you bleeding heavily or just spotting? Since your bleeding is not excessive your gyn is probably not too concerned.

Once I had something like that and my Gyn did a D & C and it stopped completely.

But my daughter had a fibroid which was causing the bleeding. Her Gyn did an

Ablation which took care of the bleeding problem.

Call the doc and get your blood test results for thyroid. Report them here to Hollis, who is very knowledgeable about thyroid and see if they really are "normal". Docs notoriously allow very low normal or very high normal results go by as not a problem when they may be a clear indication of a thyroid gone bad.Oddly, you don't say if the doc has tested your female hormones and testosterone. If your bleeding is irregular, those too should have been checked. You don't mention your age, or whether or not you have any symptoms of menopause, perimenopause (though heavy bleeding and irratic bleeding is a symptom of menopause).carlacll wrote: Hi everyone,I have had very strong periods since last May.
