Guest guest
Sorry for the delay in replying, Ron. I was on a modified SCD for one month and have been on the strict diet for a little over two months. So not that long, but I’ve made very quick progress, I guess, which I’m thankful for -- especially quick, it seems, when I hear about the difficulties of some of the rest of the group here. It’s definitely helping my Crohn’s symptoms, the more so since I started the strict diet. My bowel movements are much more normal, though I still have some pain in my right side, but it’s fairly minor most of the time. But I’m also on LDN, which I’ve now been on a month, but only at full dose for the last three night. The LDN, so far, has really boosted my energy, which was terrible and debilitatingly low; that’s the main result I’ve felt from LDN at this point. n From: BTVC-SCD [mailto:BTVC-SCD ] On Behalf Of ronald.fiorillo Sent: Tuesday, April 07, 2009 2:02 PM To: BTVC-SCD Subject: Re: Die off after 3 weeks?? Starting to worry the diet may not be working for me... n, Thank you for responding. The only food I have introduced in addition to the intro diet is green beans. I definitely plan on sticking it out on the diet for the long term, it is just nice to get a little reassurance that I am doing alright. May I ask how long you have been on the diet and how you are doing now in relation to your Crohns symptoms?
