I took Inderal for years for a mild case of high blood pressure. When

my T2 diabetes was diagnosed recently, my doctor switched me to

Lisinopril, since ACE Inhibitors may help to prevent kidney damage and

heart problems.

However, the cough is starting to drive me nuts. I guess some people

can take a different ACE Inhibitor, and others have to go to an ARB.

Anyone here able to change to another ACE Inhibitor and not have the

cough?

Thanks,

May

Nope. I ended up with Diovan (an ARB). Is there some reason not to

take an ARB?

I'm on medications for depression and I'm also a cancer patient, so I

try to limit the number of non-generics I take. I only have a 5$

copay for generics, $15 for some non-generics and $25 for others.

Obviously, I'll take an ARB if I have to.

Thanks,

May
