Guest guest
Yes, you do have to be a ST to take the course. I tried to take the one held in Norfolk, VA this fall. I even call the PROMPT Institute to see if I could take it not want any certification, just as a parent and the answer was no. They are working on setting up workshops for parents/caregivers in the future. A child is like a butterfly in the wind, some fly faster, some fly harder but they all fly the best they can. Each one is different, each one is beautiful and each one is special Mom of three 5 with verbal apraxia, sdi, hypotonia, and dd 15 ADHD Zac 11 in the gifted program at school Each a Beautiful Butterfly in their own way! Guest guest
Tricia~ Don't you have to be an S.L.P. to attend PROMPT workshops? At the conference in Pittsburgh in July, Deborah Hayden said they were working on a workshop for parents. Am I missing something? Thanks, Kitty Tricia wrote: This one is organized by our very own Petruk!!!! Guest guest
Yes, I believe you have to be an SLP. Forward this message to your therapists so they can circulate it to their colleagues. I should have put that on the original message; thanks for bringing this to the attention of the group!
