Guest guest
Hi Spencer, Do you have any issues with tolerating Fats? Or do you have Nausea? If not- I don't really see a risk. How many avocados are you eating? How long have you been on the diet? What are you eating these days? Jodi

Guest guest
Hi Spencer, Well since you are thinking about BioKult.. Which you know on SCD that Bifidum bacteria are illegal.. Biokult contains illegal strains including Bifidum species. Have you looked at doing GAPS intro? It might be a good guide line for you especially since you need to be easy with the fructose malabsorption offenders. I think if avocados work for you- you should stick with them. Also, maybe you should not eat the carrots and try something like zucchini's. I still cannot tolerate cooked carrots all that well. Also, in your situation I would hold off on Candida offenders (like banana) and if you add dollops of ghee into things you will find you are super satiated. Guest guest
Spencer, Does Yogurt not contain casein? Does it get denatured whereas in Ghee is doesn't? Not really sure if you are concerned about casein why you would eat Yogurt. Jodi > > jodah thank you - ah you are right re biokult! i totally forgot about > that - i will hold off and do yogurt only - good call > > i am concerned about ghee and casein sensitivity > > but i will investigate
Guest guest
Alyssa, I was just wondering in Spencer's case. But in general if one has an issue with fats in general than maybe Avocados are a problem. Usually fat issues can cause nausea. I have a very big problem with Saturated fats even coconut oil and yet I can eat some Olive oil or some avodcados freely. Nuts are a problem too, I have yet to try some nut oils and see if that makes a difference. Jodi > > Do avocados contribute to nausea? I've been having nausea lately and > I'm trying to figure out what the deal is.

Guest guest
I will test out the yogurt gradually - it is a more important component than the gheeSpencer,Does Yogurt not contain casein? Guest guest
I was told raw avocado is fibrous and can be an issue for some people. I don't know if nausea is one of the issues, but I suppose it could be. Holly > > Do avocados contribute to nausea? Guest guest
Yes...avocados make me feel yucky...nauseous. They're too high in fat for me. I have GERDS and can't tolerate high fat foods, even if they're good for you. GERDS and chronic C SCD 1 yr > > > > Do avocados contribute to nausea?
