Now the vision in my operated on eye is much better than the other eye. I

wonder if it is the thyroid that really caused my blindness. I went from

seeing the eye DR and him saying there is a dense cataract to totally blind

where they coild not see in in less than 3 weeks. Once you are off the

drops, the eye will heal, but up till then, all was a blur. Steriods slow

the bodies ability to do stuff like make it's own vitious material but it

keeps the swelling down so the eye heals to that level. My operated eye has

less wrinkles becasue it is bigger. More stuffing! LOL Also your own body

will replace the oil with a bitter type vitrious material that you can see

through, The reason for the oil is that it is thick and holds the retina in

place to heal. That is the best was to describe it. Tell her that time will

make a huge difference. I have never again really seen out of 2 eyes at once

kind of one ata time now.
