Guest guest
This is one todays about.com forum good luck Hi there just to let anyone who lives in Northampton or Daventry & South Northants area Health Authority that they will pay for armour thyroid on NHS prescription. Northampton area has no problems with this. Daventry & South Northants previously refused to pay for Armour prescribed on the NHS but Sue Mc Guire of the authority told me yesterday that after reading more recent publications that she is now prepared to allow GP's to prescribe armour on the NHS. So if there's anyone out there who lives in this area get down to your GP and tell them, especially Daventry & S northants as they refused to allow this previously. All I've got to do now is battle with my GP to actually get the prescription. However on that score Dr Skinner is writing to my GP to tell him the doseage of armour I'm on. I've been paying for this myself and previously T3 so it's the NHS's turn. Anyone who wants the actual phone number for Sue McGuire Daventry please contact me via this board.
