Guest guest
Marilyn, Do you mean that only at the start of SCD we have to dilute vegetable juices? My son is 2 yrs SCD and I want to add in fresh vegie juices to get more vitamins/minerals into him. I'd like to do them straight but I'm not sure if I can. Thanks > Yes, it's possible to juice the greens -- just be > sure to dilute the juice significantly when starting. > > > — Marilyn > New Orleans, Louisiana, USA > Undiagnosed IBS since 1976, SCD since 2001 > Darn Good SCD Cook > No Human Children > Shadow & Sunny Longhair Dachshund

" Some people have to keep diluting them forever. Some people are able to gradually reduce the dilutions, and are able to do full, fresh juices. I, for instance, am fine with up to one cup of orange juice. But I can only do about 4 ounces of blueberry, pomegranete, or tart cherry. Most others, I can't tolerate. With green juices, I can tolerate about 2 ounces, well diluted, or it gives me the runs. Yet I can eat quantities of cooked or raw veggies. — Marilyn New Orleans, Louisiana, USA Undiagnosed IBS since 1976, SCD since 2001 Darn Good SCD Cook No Human Children Shadow & Sunny Longhair Dachshund
