I've never fixed salmon, except with dill, to be honest. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20080927133522AAWfMoJ might have some suggestions, or just Google on " preparing salmon " for ideas of how to season it. Also, did you eat any types of butternut squash? Do you think that can be soft food or is that too much carb? I think that it would make a good soft food, if you are looking to up your carbs a bit. Tolerance of carb quantities is such an individual thing. I would bake the squash, then puree it with a hand-blender or food processor (after removing seeds and any stringy fibers). Because I do better WITH fat, I always blend in some butter or ghee, but that's not an option for you. I think if you wanted to make a soup out of the butternut, that I would blend it with some bone broth for added nutrition. You could also consider making a " smoothie " with meat or eggs, broth, and butternut. — Marilyn New Orleans, Louisiana, USA Undiagnosed IBS since 1976, SCD since 2001 Darn Good SCD Cook No Human Children Shadow & Sunny Longhair Dachshund
