What about these symptoms?

Is itching and a ton of discharge a " normal " part of vvs or

vulvodynia? I just ask because over the past week I have had a ton of

discharge, a lot of itching and also my vestibular area is SO RED. I

keep telling my doctors that I think something else is going on, does

anybody else have these symptoms as part of their vulvodynia/vvs? I

think that it sounds more like an infection.

sounds like a yeast infection. i swear by boric acid capsules (suppositories) to clear up a yeast infection.

Yes, excess discharge and redness can be a symptom of VVD

(correct abbreivation for vulvodynia) and vulvar vestibulitis

syndrome also called vestibulodynia (abbreivation for this is

VBD).

Also, I find that being on the pill (I'm off of it right now)

makes me have a lot of discharge too so when I get an infection

I can't depend on the discharge to tell me what kind it is b/c

of the fact that the pill causes me a lot of discharge and

alters the color of the discharge.

And yes, indeed my vulva is red b/c of the vulvodynia.
