Guest guest
Hello everybody. I have a question. My aunt has been calling my mom a lot lately. Come to find out she has had some abnormal bleeding, thru blood work (I believe) they have determined she is post menopausal. She was having seriously painful cramps that oxycodone was not helping. They have done an ultrasound and they found a 7 cm mass. They are sending her for a biopsy on June 1st. During the blood work her thyroid levels we extremely high. Hypothyroidism. I have that. My question, from the few sites I have read, ovarian cancer is usually found after it has already spread. If that s the case what is the survival rate. I don't know that she has ovarian cancer, I don't even know if that's where the cycst is. I know it's on her female organs. But that's all that I know. I know they always paint the worst case scenerio, so I thought I would see if any of you have any input. Thanks in advance. Patti
