Guest guest
Hi , When my hives were at their worst, I took Allegra/zantac during the day and the regular z/z combo at night. I could not shake the sedating effects of zyrtec in order to do my job effectively, so this was the compromise. It seemed to work ok for me. Now, I just take 10 mg of Claritin per day and I am under pretty good control with just a few isolated hives here and there. Welcome to the group!! Guest guest
I have not taken the Zyrtec for more than 2 days, it made me so sleepy!! The claritan/zantac was not very effective for me, but the allegra/zantac combo works pretty well, along with the doxepin at bedtime.
