I use a blender to grind up the nuts.

What can I use to grind almonds into flour? I tried a coffee grinder but it didn't work too well. Any other ideas? How do I prevent over-grinding it into paste etc?

Here I can't get almond flour, which is a real bore. I grind my almonds in the bowl of my food mixer (sorry, there might be another name for this that I have forgotten). It works quite well, but I am sure bought almond flour would be finer. Just start out using almond butter and move on to homemade almond flour when you are getting better.

i buy sliced almonds and grind them in the food processor. It works just fine. i figured sliced almonds might be easier on the blade of the food processor.....
