Was this the chicken soup with the carrots pureed into it? I didn't tolerate carrots for almost six months. I had to go with zucchini for my vegetable. Guest guest
Yes I pureed the carrots, and I diluted the grape juice when drinking. I did not dilute for the jello, was I supposed to?I also take celexa and lamictal for depression, could these be causing a problem?I can't get off of these very easily, and they are helping me a lot. Taking them for years.Sent from my iPhoneOn Mar 18, 2009, at 10:58 PM, "Wizop Marilyn L. Guest guest
The foods on the intro. diet could still be a problem for your digestion. I found I had to substitute other foods for my version of the intro. diet, as I discovered I couldn't eat DCCC or yogurt, cheesecake, ground beef, carrots, and even gelatin bothered my digestion. I found other SCD-legal foods that achieved the same purpose, which is eating soft, easy-to-digest foods that give our digestions time to calm down, not work as hard. I'd go ahead and experiment by adding a new food one at a time, starting with the softest and easiest. There is a helpful guideline on www.pecanbread.com Kim M.
