Hi Tami and others who suggested I may have a Yeast infection:

I appreciate your comments regarding my questions about the constant

" burning " sensations. I am well aware of yeast infections including both

vaginal and systemic and how they can really cause a myriad of problems. In

fact my husband is being treated for systemic yeast due to antibiotic use for

many years to treat acne. I had the yeast speciation test (the one where the

culture is kept in the lab for several weeks) along with yeast testing of my

digestive system and stool several times. All negative. However I am

avoiding sugars and yeasts in general and taking acidolphilus. There is one

test I heard of to check for skin candida which I will look into.

Interestingly I tested for " no growth " of my friendly bacteria on my

digestive tests. (At one point I thought " leaky gut syndrome " may be my

problem, but it was not.) Apparently having " no friendly bacteria " can cause

some wierd symptoms related to autoimmune things such as dermatology and

rheumatoid arthritus -- at least that is what the lab report says. I am

taking L-Glutamine in addition to the acidolphilus however the same test came

back today still showing " no growth " after over a month of the supplements.

I will be talking to my doctor, but still going to have the skin biopsies and

some related masto tests done in the meantime. The Parasitology test was

negative.

Tami -- I am glad there was a " cause " of your vaginal burning and that you

are feeling better at least " down there " . By the way, just knowing you (and

others) are out there, even if your symptoms differ..... is a great comfort,

so thanks so much for your acknowledgment and suggestions regarding my

postings. Sincerely, Molly
