Why not A&D ointment

I've lost the post from the person who asked why my

Dr. said not to use A & D, but here's the answer.

The nurse practitioner said if you are at all alergic

to WOOL you shouldn't use anything with lanolin in it,

and A & D has lanolin, which would irritate my patches

of lichen simplex chronicus and/or hyperplasia... both

of which may be umbrella terms for something else, but

that's all the information I have so far.
