Guest guest
Hi, I just saw two new doctors this morning, one a chiropractor who deals in womans health and one a pain specialist. The pain doctor suggested I consider switching to a drug called Lyrica(or something like that)which she prefers for nerve pain. I am taking Dispramine now and have also taken Elevil and Neurontin. She also talked about triger point injections. She said she bets she can find a trigger point in or near the rectom that she can than put an injection into to stop the pain. I was wondering if anyone else has tried anything else like either of these to things? I only have pain in the clitoral area and directly around it in the folds of the labia. My pain is all the time and is so sensitive that even underwear is out of the question. I never thought I would think of underwear as an exotic forbidden fruit!! Such is my life! Thanks ladies!!! Guest guest
I went to a specialist at the chronic pain center today. He did a pelvic exam and pushed on some trigger points. We discovered I have Myofasial Dysfunction. He said the muscles are 'lock' from infection and a tear I had earlier this year. I will be going for pysio for this on tuesday. Hopefully the clitoral pain will go away with pysio. he thinks they are linked but not sure. He said I will go on lyrica if pain is still here in a month. He also said if that doesnt work I would get injections and they would release the muscle. But that is if the Pt doesnt help. Has anyone had this PT before? He said it is painful. Does it help? How long to see results. Feel free to email me directly~ Thanks!
