Guest guest
Joanne - I read your email with a smile - glad to hear he is gaining weight, despite not having the Fortijuice. I don't know what is in Fortijuice (I know it has lots of calories, though). But I will tell you that the Chief of Peds GI at UCLA told us of a study that showed that the number 1 correlation of children with lack of weight gain is drinking more than 8 ounces of juice a day. Too high in sugar, sugar burns off too quickly, body can't utilize it for energy/weight gain (plus that they fill up on it and don't eat food). So I don't know how much " juice " is in Fortijuice, but maybe that is partly why he is gaining weight?
