Thanks for the info. I have low free t3 (but within the range) 2.6

in a range of 2.3 - 4.2, don't know the t4 as I gather the doc

didn't test for it (not on my copy of the lab results) and pretty

high hashimoto's antibodies - I guess high is relative though. It's

at 1200 out of a range 0-34. I've tried armour, I've tried t3.

I've gone back on synthroid on my own because though it didn't help

tremendously, it was better than nothing and both the armour and

straight t3 made me psychotic. :) The armour made me cry and

paranoid... the t3 just made me depressed. Still coming down off

that I guess - not as depressed as I was a week ago, but still not

as happy as I used to be - still want to hide from the world. At

least before on the synthroid, though my face was puffy and I was

tired-ish, I was pretty happy. Now I'm at a loss. I've also gained

weight while on both the armour and the t3. I am taking isocort

which is helping with the tired. I'm afraid of the armour and t3.

Any advice?

Thanks!

can you post amounts of meds and the reults test wise like when you took the

armour, was it just t3 recently? the tests then and what were you taking

before and the results. Why have you changes meds so much, what was going

on?

oops didn't exactly answer this one. been on levoxyl/synthroid for

15 years. felt *ok* but never up to par. thought I'd try to get

that fixed. oy, what a mess. :) That will teach me to want to

feel *good* instead of somewhat adequate.

I much appreciate the input. But what would explain that everytime

I took higher and higher dosages, the more weepy and/or depressed I

got. Yes, the T3 was alone, not while on armour. Tried that after

the armour thing.
