Sorry to hear about all the problems (it's good to vent!).

Anyway, do you ever give Miranda guaifenesin (sp?) (aka ? That helps thin

the secretions and (IMO) helps the antibiotics work better. It is an RX most

places. Also do you give Miranda acidophilus or something to help fight the

yeast buildup from the antibiotics? Both things would probably help and are

not usually troublesome meds with side effects, etc.

(Just what you need - MORE to think about and....sorry....)

Taking Tequin now for the last 50-60 days, can't afford IVIG.... That

reminds me, if Miranda gets lots of infections has your doc suggested IVIG?

I think I just need to vent some of this stuff off, I hope you

all dont mind. I really feel like I am losing it here and dont know how much

more I can take!

Miranda is sick, AGAIN.....Big suprise I know. And the thing is,

thats not the worst of it. We are due to be on Ohio on Friday to see Dr

Cohen. We lost our last appointment because she was in the hospital with

Pneumonia a month ago and we were very lucky to reschedule this one again so

soon. But now its like we are doing a repeat of last month. I have no idea if

the dr will even give us clearance to fly with the breathing problems she is

having. ( we use Angel Flight which are small private plans and they are not

equipt for medical emergencies) I desperatley want to get her there just in

the hopes he will have some help to offer us with all this breathing stuff

going on. She is on Prednisone again and I was told this is not such a good

thing for her with having Mito ( any knowledge here??) And to make her just

all the more miserable, she has massive diahrea from the antibiotics she is

on. We are going back to the Dr today at 2:40. We shall see what happens.

Thanks for listening...I really think I am losing my mind!
