Hi :

It sounds like you may have acid reflux. Can you tell us what you are eating

and drinking? It would help to point out the culprit. People with this problem

have to avoid alcohol, cafeine, fried foods, really fatty foods, high acid like

tomatoes, very spicy...

I find sticking to simple foods like vegetables, fruit, protein (not

fried),yogurt is beneficial to me.

Let me know,

GERDS and chronic C

SCD 11.5 months

stomach acid. I have been having pain in my upper stomach area for about 3 days

now. it is so painful. It feels as though I am starving. I couldn't

understand why I was sooooo hungry. But the pain is not from hunger but from

stomach acid. Is there anything that is SCD legal that I can take to nutralize

the acid? I have been on this diet for about 5 weeks now and I thought it was

great that I wasn't needing any tums or products for this problem but I guess I

spoke to soon as now I am having the problem. The D cleared for a while but as

I reduce the prednazone, the D has come back. any suggestions for either of the

problems would be greatly appreciated.

just helps to know your all out there.

Is pepcid AC scd legal? If not what can we SCDers take for stomach acid. Its

seems that most of the food I can eat ie meat. yogurt, greenbeans are acid

producing foods. I have gotten off the steriods and now the D and blood are

back and It feels like my stomach is eating my backbone most of the time. I am

getting very discouraged. Please help

Thanks
