Guest guest
Hi Caroline, Does he take S Boulardii? GI Prohealth makes a great one. This good " yeast " is really good for us when taking antibiotics! Also, can he take cranberry juice at all? How is he with Knudsens " Just Juice " Line? Does it agree with him? Or a high quality cranberry supplement? That really helps with UTI's. Cipro is one of those antibiotics they actually give to Crohn's disease, so he may not feel that wicked on it. But one can never know. Jodi
Guest guest
Thanks Jodi. I'll order GI Prohealth's s Boulardi. I've been making him jello w/Knudsen Grape Juice. I'll pick up some of their Cranberry Juice today. Thanks Caroline > > Hi Caroline, > > Does he take S Boulardii? GI Prohealth makes a great one. Guest guest
I have a question. My 14 year old daughter who is on the SCD had to go on antibiotics last week for a major sore throat. We bumped up her probiotic per the nutritionist. But she has a few pills left of the antibiotic and today she feels she might have a yeast infection. Do you all think it's ok to do Monistat 3? That's what I do for yeast infections in the past. Please respond quickly as she would do the Monistat tonight before bed. Thanks. Any suggestions to keep his Crohn's in check while on the meds? He's now able to tolerate a few tsp of yogurt and I thought going back on the Intro diet was a good idea. Anything else he can do?
