Femifesto: This is my biggest fear. Are we going to have to train

our bodies to 'turn off the pain'? Although with other Lyme issues

the pain and problems can completely go away (ie people get our of

wheelchairs and lead normal lives) People with hands twisted up and

unusable with Rhumatroid Arthritis have normal function again. I am

hoping for the best for us Lymies. Lyme is a very strange disease.

I know WAY more about it than I'd like to sometimes.

Molly,

I know on my Lyme support group I talked to the

moderator Sandi. She said she was like me bedwridden

ect... she said today she is completely pain free but

it took her 3 years to get that way. Im wondering if

you can heal the damage to the nerves over time? Thats

a great question. I always read the word remission

where ppl stay pain free and symptom free for years

and it would come and go. Im hoping to keep my immune

system functioning properly and maybe that will also

help to keep me in remission. It's too soon to tell if

this is it? I know now im having enjoyable sex which I

couldnt for about 6 years or so. Im definitly in a

better place. Im so thanful. Pluse I pray every night.

Kind Regards, Tami

P.S It's real nice to get a break after 8 years now.

Im so thankful. I pray everyone else is able to get a

break or healed. I wish there was a magical pill that

would help everyone. I know all to well about the

suffering and it saddens me to know there thousands of

women still suffering,
