Guest guest
Hi all, I'm 9 days away from my one-year SCD anniversary, and I'm thinking about finally adding some fresh fruits and maybe green leafy veggies to my diet. I'm not sure I'm ready for them (still have gas and occasionally slight bleeding), but I'm hoping they'll help with my faux-constipation (very few bowel movements -- once or twice a week at most -- although they're almost always nice and soft and no pain or straining). Do any of you have tips for adding fresh fruit? I've gone through the Pecanbread stages list, but wondering whether any particular fresh fruits are better to begin with than others? How important is peeling the fruit (like apples for instance)? Better to begin with one at a time I suppose rather than a whole load of fresh fruits and salad all at once? Thanks for any input!
