Hi Everyone,

I'm sorry it has been a long while since I have posted. I have been sick and

busy. However I do read all of your posts and can't wait till I feel up to

getting back into the swing of the Group.

I do have a question. In reading posts, I have read conversations between

Ron and Sally in regards to her BG levels and treatment. In a post from

yesterday, Sally had wrote about how much Humalog she is currently taking

and they are very very high amounts. My dietician and my Endocrinologist

have both recently told me that it isn't good to take so much insulin that

it begins to damage our kidney's. So politely I posted this to Sally in

response to one of her posts to Ron. In which Ron intercepted the post and

has denied it being posted publicly. He says I need something to back up

what I have stated. Other than the fact that my dr is the one who told me

this and he has been in practice for over 30 yrs, that is all I have.

Ron seems to have the DSM group so guarded that I don't see how you can

personally email anyone in the group if you can't post it personally.

Further more I have no clue what Ron's credentials are for advising everyone

how to treat their diabetes. I might be way out of line here. But recently I

have gone to the DSM website and there I find nothing about his credentials.

Does anyone know? I have requested this information from him. It just

concerned me when he is guiding this woman through treating her diabetes

with no concern spoken about the amounts of Humalog she is taking.

Someone please she some light on this for me?

Thank you,

Tommie

I'm getting a wee bit confused. What list is DSM, and why are we

discussing it here on diabetes_int?

Last evening I was looking through Mendosa's site and he has done an

article about Ron Sebol. You can read it at

http://www.mendosa.com/sebol.htm

If you want a real trip, see Mr. Mendosa's three articles about *his* life,

Youth, Radical and Mature years! Lots to read on this website.

Righto...and the picture is one I took of Ron when I met him this time

last year on my trip to the east coast. The previous picture of Ron on

Mendosa's site was so bad that I figured I could do better (it looked

like a mug shot). . I think I did.
