We are in the process of selling our house so we decided to spruce it up a bit. I painted the fence as not only did the fence get painted, but I also got a tan. Anyway, our neighbor drove into his driveway and commented that I was doing a good job and I thanked him. Then he said, you wouldn't have been able to do that a year ago??? Now stupid me, I said " that's for sure, not really sure what he meant, as we have never spoke with out neighbours (not rude just busy). It was bothering me what he said, I was wondering if he meant because last year's " weather " was lousy, that's why I couldn't have done the job, OR was it because I was fat last year........so, I waited until I saw him today and I went outside and asked him what he meant! I am still RED, flattered, but blushing!!! He said " you definitely wouldn't have looked as good in shorts and a tank top like you do this year, you have done an excellent job, whatever you are doing, keep it up " . I was able to smile and say thank you and came back into the house! Wow, that was some compliment, feels kinda good! Had to share.....
