High antibodies can be normal again with Armour and T3

Dr. Lowe has always been a pioneering doctor in the treatment of

problems such as high antibodies. He gives the example of a patient

who's anti-microsomal (peroxidase) antibodies were 673. When she was

put on T4 by her family doctor, the treatment was ineffective. When

she began taking 2 grains of Armour and 50 mcg. of Cytomel, her

antibody level plunged to 70. When her Cytomel dose was 75 mcg., her

symptoms began to distinctly improve.

I'm going to see if I can also prove that point, Janie, since my antibodies

were 1,965 and then the other one over 1,000 back in March. I'm going to

try to get tested for those again soon, hoping that my thyroid treatment

will also be optimal by then. It's an experiement. I know that there are

many variables there also, like optimal nutrition, etc.......but we'll see.

I think that I can even tell at this point, from week to week and month to

month, when they are flaring, because that's when my throat is getting

uncomfortable, even though, according to the " experts " , my thyroid is

supposed to be shrunk and fibrotic at this point. Think I'm going to prove

them wrong and Dr. Lowe right.

I'm now on 120 mgs and holding, with a completely suppressed TSH, Free T4 in

the upper range, with the Free T3 up over the top of normal. That was 3

months ago, and I had been on that dose for around 4 to 6 wks or so. With

those high antibodies though, the tests could have been scewed, particularly

because I could simply have T3 hanging around outside the cells, not getting

in. I tried to go up, but was having too fast a pulse rate, pressure in my

chest, giddiness, nervousness, and I felt like stepping into a freezer all

the time.
