Guest guest
Hi Vicki, Prior to WLS I was a watermelon, seriously big everywhere! After my weight loss stabilized, with the pannus and extra skin on derriere, hips, thighs, I wore size 12 pants and skirts and size 14 jackets (size 12 tops were too tight through the waist). Now at 4 months post TT and thigh lift I am in size 10 pants and some size 8s if I have the waistband let out 1 inch. Jacket size 12 is fine through the torso; my batwings are the main stumbling block with any smaller tops. I was back to my exercise schedule at 6 wks. postop and it is easier without curtains of skin to manipulate. I lived in Bodyslimmers to help manage the pannus and thigh skin. Now I wear the a smaller size Bodyslimmer to help support and compress the scar tissue around my waist and on the thighs. Cheers, Anita in Ga > Did anyone change sizes as a result of a tummy tuck or panniculectomy??? The reason I am asking is that so far of the people I have asked in person, no one has changed sizes per sae . . . but rather they changed appearance and fit? I even heard people say they were bigger after??? I had it in my head that the TT would change my size as that is the only place I had extra anything . . .I especially want to hear from apples. I am a real apple . . ..not hour glass . . .not pear. Please answer publically as I know other grads want the benefit of your experiences as well it would also help if you related fit changes ect . . . Was exercise easier? Did it improve posture? > Thanks! > ) Vicki
