Guest guest
, I was Stage II, one bad node and had 6 mo of chemo but no radiation. So far I am doing ok. Its 16 yrs for me. I will continue to keep you in my prayers. Hugs nne Breast Cancer Patients Soul Mates for Life http://www.geocities.com/chucky5741/breastcancerpatients.html Check out my other ornaments at www.geocities.com/chucky5741/bcornament.html Lots of info and gifts at: www.cancerclub.com CinDWood Crafts http://www.cindwoodcrafts.com crazy ride begins I start this cancer treatment ride tomorrow with my pre-op physical. The surgery and sentinal node biopsy are scheduled for July 6th. As of right now the plan is to do a lumpectomy and sentinal node biopsy, if the " quick read " of the sentinal node (nodes) is posative remove what they have to during the initial surgery. But since I have Lupus all of that depends on the lupus blood work. If that shows that the lupus is in remission then I can have radiation and the lumpectomy will be on, but if the lupus is not in remission then I cannot have radiation and I will have to have a mastectomy. I am very nervous about the lupus test and somewhat torn, because there are pros and cons to being able to have the radiation. Probably won't have the results of the blood work for lupus before early next week so while I know that I will have surgery on the 6th I won't know just what the surgery will entail until almost time to have it done. Thanks again for just being here and giving me a place to express my hopes and my fears. WISH ME LUCK! in Denver
