Guest guest
Tom, I am going to see an accupuncturist in my town, but she has never treated vulvar vestibulitis before. Can you tell me where I might get some information about treating vv with accupuncture? If you don't mind, you can email me privately: michaelandlynsey@... Guest guest
Lynsey, I have no clue about actual accupuncture with VV symptoms but I would definately try the tapping protocols for EFT. Do you know were to get them? TKOPT lynsey_gibbons wrote: Tom, I am going to see an accupuncturist in my town, but she has never treated vulvar vestibulitis before. Guest guest
Here is an article: http://www.medicalacupuncture.org/aama_marf/journal/vol17_1/article3.html based on a Swedish study. My acupuncturist did not use all of these points, and he also used once in addition to the ones on this diagram. He said that most outward complaints had to do with an organ system that he uncovered through almost an hour's worth of questioning. It was very helpful and I was pain-free afterwards, but it did not last more than about 48 hours. Lindsey Cheap Talk? Check out Yahoo! Messenger's low PC-to-Phone call rates. Guest guest
No, I would appreciate a link, though. I'm a psychotherapist and a friend of mine uses EFT in her practice. > > > > > > Sally, > > > That is great news and I am glad it helped. > > > How it works is theorized to do with the energy meridians that run > > > throughout the body. > > > Those meridians actually run through the parts of the brain that > > are > > > responsible for recognizing, > > > processing and storing / filling all the traumatic or not > > traumatic > > > events we experience. > > > You recall the suspected event / situation you then tap on these > > > accupuncture points in a specific sequence and > > > it modifies the way your brain stores the info. Guest guest
Lindsey, Go to my website www.tomocklerpt.com and click on the EFT button. There I have put an article to explain about EFT and at the bottom is a link to go to the website and download the manual for free. It will download as a PDF file on to your computer. You can take that and go to Kinkos or CopyMax and for 12 bucks have it spiral bound as a book. The chapter that is called The Basic Recipe is a synapsis of EFT and tapping protocols and is only 12 pages long. Let me know if you have any questions, I'll be happy to help.
