Zoe's New Program

Hi Everyone,

I have had so many private requests for the new program that Zoe has

been on for the past 2 1/2 months that I though I would address

everyone to shorten my effort. As mentioned before, Zoe has grown

dramatically and reduced asthma side effects very rapidly. I want to

emphasis that this has been for a short period but the future does

look promising. This growth was accomplished with the elimination of

Periactin and a reduced dosage of GH.

As far as some of the changes we made to Zoe's treatment, they

include focusing on the diet with avoiding all simple carbs, eating

complex carbs (low on the glycemic index) including fruits and

vegetables and good protein (fish, free range meats and chicken, a

lot of bean type meals) while also having good types of fats, plus

lots of water. I'm trying to cook everything from scratch and really

trying to avoid any processed foods. It is a pain initially, but

after awhile you get the hang of it. I now read all labels for any

of these ingredients. We are also staying away from food additives;

flavorings, colorings, and preservatives.

Let me also mention that we also are trying to avoid as many of the

typical allergic foods, milk products (milk, cheeses, ice cream,

goats milk), eggs, peanuts, soybeans, green peas, potatoes, peaches,

papayas, rice, buckwheat, codfish, shrimp and fermented products

(breads, bagels). Additionally, we have added a high quality hypo-

allergenic multi-vitamin from a company called Thorn Products (must

order through your doctor). It is my understanding that multi-

vitamins bought in the drug store are not of good quality and not

always hypo-allergenic.

These nutritional changes have made a discernable difference in Zoe

and you know it's seems to be helping the rest of my family's health

too. :)
