Guest guest
Hi GG I am so sorry to hear about your experience. I can relate to the heavy bleeding, wearing black clothes, and feeling stuffed like a pinata AND worst of all, having an unresponsive doctor. My last doctor, who I finally fired after 2 years, was always out of town or working in the lab. I always had to leave messages with the nurse and then WAIT. I waited 2 months for her to call me back one time (even though I called every week and left messages with the nurse). Did you have 3 shots of Lupron in one month?? I can't imagine what that was like. Having one monthly for 6 months (3 times) was bad enough. I am scheduled for myo on Friday so I finally feel like there's hope that this will be behind me soon. It sounds like it may be time to find a new doctor. Hope your bleeding subsides and you find some answers soon. Remember you're not alone. Guest guest
Rant away! Anything if it makes you feel better! Fire you doc if she doesn't respond. Call her office every 10 minutes, do whatever is necessary. Take the slow FE iron, even if you're not anemic, you don't want to be. It's another fight and a long one, this anemia. I read anti inflammatory meds can sometimes help with the bleeding. I'm sure this isn't the case for all but it might help you be in less pain. Drink lots of fluids! LOTS! Everytime I turn around, I'm dehydrated from bleeding and I am drinking lots of water. Soda will just help to dehydrate you more. I too, am now bleeding. I think I crossed everything not to be bleeding during my saline sono. Got in just under the wire. They don't like to do this when you are bleeding because there's an increased rate of infection, like we bleeders need more problems. I got called " cranky " by my hubby tonight. He stubbed his little toe this past weekend and acted like he had been shot. Me, I bleed like I've been shot and yes, I can be easier to get angry, especially if someone is messing up the work I managed to get done today and I'm in pain. I'll crank my hubby. I understand about the class and I really believe in education. I hope you took extra clothes. I wore the same dark blue jeans pants and if I flooded, I could put another pair on. It's an ideal. I hope this helps, just knowing there's people here for you and we do understand. I certainly wish I was nearer and could help you out more. I just feel so bad for you. Sending you a hug and well wishes!

Guest guest
Thank you Sydney...I did make a typo and I had Lupron for three months-one shot a month. I agree with you; it is time to find a new doc. I will consider everything....it is time. The hardest partwill be finding care for my kids. Also when I requisitioned my hosp reports it turns out I had some sort of heart fart...when I came to, the nurses mentioned something about a " breathing prob. " Some sort of ischemic episode....involving ventricular tachycardia and some ischemia...still, I will do what I must to regain my balance! Thanks for your support. gg sydneyjo26 wrote: > Hi GG > I am so sorry to hear about your experience. Guest guest
Thank you SO much TX....when things get out of hand it is so much a post traumatic stress syndrome thing. It triggers a whole flood of backwash...puns fully intended. I am tired of confrontin my own mortality ....on the other hand...it is giving me a head start!!! ;-)! Last night I was so tired, I went to sleep early, after four hugs each from my teenage sons, and " things " are a bit slower today....the dawn of the day of my new game plan, whatever it is! So, yesterday in class the teacher was doing Chinese tongue diagnosis: We all had to line up in front of the mirror and stick our tongues out...and examine each student's tongues....my teacher stopped before mine and said I had some problem with an organ which kept shedding it's lining! hahaha. gg. Guest guest
Wayne Dyer suggested we all dispense with the term " depression, " and just say...'I have a staying in bed with the covers over my head condition.' hahaha. So I have that condition and I am also trying a painful folk remedy....icing my abdomen for fifteen minutes...hurts like a beeyatch but my friend Katy who passes liver-sized clots swears it works and is the only thing that stops her bleeding and the pain. I have never heard of it...perhaps along with the cold it is the weight of the ice? brrrr.....I will tell you all if it works....requires some chutzpah to do it....as a SoCal woman I personally don't do well with cold but here goes..... Still waiting for my doc to call from 3 1/2 days ago telling her I was hemorrhaging severely....perhaps she thinks I will die before she calls and so get rid of the demanding patient. just kidding....if I ran my business that way with the seeming lack of care and responsiveness I'd be out on the streets....remember that Seinfield episode where the guy had a huge tip on the table and audibly began to take away money from the pile with each instance of bad service? ;-)! I wish..... gg " Rafferty, Christy L [R & D/0200] " wrote: > The tongue is a good tell tale about how your body is functioning, at least > he knew you didnt feel the greatest and you were in class!!! Guest guest
GG, Hi, I won't guarentee that any of the things I told you will actually help. None of them are helping me right now. I don't think my hubby will call me " cranky " again real soon. I told him that if he wanted any sleep last night, he best clean the kitchen up like he found it. I keept asking him to come over to me so I could give him a " crank " or let me " see your toe. " He wouldn't come. At least your Chinese teacher was more polite. You could have offered to give him some of your " excess of wood element " by giving him a pop with a stick. Or offered to give him a pink face with a little slap. Might have made you feel better. Or maybe saying " let me see your tounge " would have worked if you used just the right tone. My hubby on the other hand would just have announced to the entire class, " GG is on the rag and is really cranky so steer clear of her. " <laughing> Think of it this way GG, Blood going out, less blood going to the brain, " I didn't know what I was doing " " I don't remember anyhing " " I'd never do anything like that " . Is any of this a help? I'm trying. Hope today is better for you. I'm still fighting the blood monkey that's on my back. Remeber, " I didn't know what I was doing " . Think happy thoughts. Make lemonade from your lemons. Geraldine Schaumburg wrote: Thanks for all the tipsand your support. I will do them all. Yesterday, I was gently called... Guest guest
Hey Kukukukula! That's so great! I never even thought of tailoring my excuses around my condition! You have opened up an entire vista for me! " Sorry, all the blood from my brain is in my belly. ;-)! " I like it! Yeah, my teacher and I are total opposites. He is totally yin....passive, gentle, vulnerable, scholarly...I am totally yang....fearless, out there, loud, joking, strong physically (except for " the CONDITION!!!!. " hahaha). Now I'm getting the hang of it.... The very oddest thing happened to me today! I tried my friend Katy's folk remedy for stopping her hemmorhaging and it seems to have worked, at least for the past 11 hours! I could not have predicted it! It might be a fluke but it did stop my pain and bleeding. It did give me a belly rash because I was allergic to the plastic that the ice gel was in....but, SO WHAT! It seems to have worked at least for a bit! Wow!!!! Remember that she ices her lower abdomen for 15 minutes, pure ice torture.... GAWD!!!! My doc still has not called me back even though I know she got my frantic message on Sunday and then Monday night. I have decided to fire her. Four days as of tomorrow....unbelievable! I will ice tomorrow before class....then report....cheers and g'night to all! ;-)! gg kukalaka wrote: > GG, Hi, I won't guarentee that any of the things I told you will actually help. Guest guest
Congratulations GG, that's great news about the icing treatment. I know it works if you can bare it. But if you're half dead ice can be a welcome relief. I was going to suggest this to you and Kukalaka and other bleeders but you discovered it anyway. Together with icing you can also try green or white clay, make a paste of it and put it on your belly, it will get rid of your rash but also extract toxins from your blood, it can even extract radio activity. It's a medicinal clay, maybe you have your own kind overthere. I hope your second icing before class worked, maybe you can put tissues between the plastic and your skin. But I'm so pleased about the result! Anything to stop all these bleeding women from going down the anemia tube. Hope you're feeling great today. Love, Margo vdV
