Hi Dee and everyone,

WOW--isn't it amazing how different we really all are. Funny thing is, when

I've used the boric acid, I'd be in way more 'burning' pain then before

using it. Very very intolerable for me. Estriol suppositories (vaginal)

also make me burn like crazy. Don't know why the tea tree is so soothing

for me, but it does the trick. No doubt it is a harsh one, but it's

soothing qualities are my body hangs on to I suppose. Funny you mention the

different strengths. I've always used he 100% and only this week did i even

notice there were diluted versions of it. Of course i dilute it myself as

it is. I've done many varied applications but generally an ounce of olive

oil can be diluted with anywhere from 2-6 drops of tea tree oil. You might

even try 3 ounces olive oil and start with 2 drops TT.

Oregano oil diluted even umpteen times more than this sends me through the

roof. Maybe someone would feel safer buying the tree suppositories from the

health food store. Mind you they are approx 11.00 if i remember

correctly....for 7 suppositories, so they are very expensive. Anyway, hopes

this helps.

Also, just using my finger to swab the inside of vagina with olive oil does

seem to act as a deterrant to yeast but that's just how it 'seems' sometime.

I could be wrong about this, but it 'seems' to keep yeast at bay all on

its own......sometimes, but not consistently.

CarolLynn:)

O.K. . . . NOW this makes more sense! In your earlier posts, it sounded

to me (and maybe to Dee as well) as if you were using it full-strength on

your tissues. Yowie!!!

>Ora that was me too, I bought some Tea Tree oil years ago and I opened it

smelled it and said NO WAY it was so strong, (course I hate menthol even in

cough drops. :) I touched my tongue to it and went thru the roof with how it

stung and burned.

>

>I think they even use that in turpentine, (could be wrong) so there must be

grades or else maybe you can buy it diluted or mixed in something? I have no

idea and hope Carol Lynn lets us know but apparently is ok for her. ;)

Tea Tree Oil contains some of the same ingredients as turpentine. That's why it

smells like turpentine.

>Speaking about that Perchlorate found in so much of our foods, water and

environment, and esp. how it affects the thyroid, you're more than welcome,

but I was thinking about those Apples and you, and though I didn't see that

mentioned as high in contamination it's a fruit and so many others were and

thought jeeze what if you were right Ora... and what if it was the apples in a

way doing that? .. then add in the water and your state I think was pretty high

for the water contamination and lord knows what else... who knows? Make sure

you get your iodide and iodine levels up I guess eh?

Good point. I kept the faucet water running while I was preparing the apples

and if it contains perchlorate maybe the mixture was causing problems. When I

do peaches I don't keep the water running but just rinse them briefly as

necessary because I like to keep the juice from the peaches.
