Hi Molly,

I don't know if this will help you at all. I don't have the stinging as you describe, but, like you, I do feel burning and a hot sensation when I'm in full-blown hives...definitely. Also, a few weeks ago, I did have some episodes of burning in my vaginal area. This was different from the regular burning with the hives, it felt much more 'internal'. I've never had a hot flash, but it reminded me of what I think one would feel like, but 'down there'. It occurred when my hives were really, really bad. I was sitting, I felt it wave over me a few times, and then it happened again a few days later. I chalked it up to another symptom of my CU. Interestingly enough, I was going in for surgery a few days later and during my pre-admission testing, the told me I had a mild bladder infection and I needed some antibiotics before having gyn surgery. I don't think I've had the vag burning since then, but I'll let you know.

Hope this helps. I've been following your posts, but never offered anything because my other symptoms differ.

Good luck.

Hi Ann and Molly (again),

I, too, get that tingly feeling when the hives are going to come out. It feels like my skin is crawling and then it usually starts to itch.

Molly, have you been checked for systemic yeast? I'm sure you probably have, but I don't remember. That can cause some wild problems from what I've read.

Hi Molly,

I don't get the burning sensation, but I do have tingling in my skins

sometimes before the hives come out, sometimes it almost feels like my skin

is crawling. Not sure if this helps you, I hope so. I'm sure you feel very

frustrated. Hope you have relief soon. Take care, Ann
