Guest guest
Avocado give me a significant amount of nausea -- not surprising since my Sphincter of Oddi dysfunction doesn't tolerate much in the way of fats. I tried them a few times since I was diagnosed and been on SCD, and even a mouthful of avocado will trigger some major upper GI symptoms. But then, all food and most drinks trigger some nausea, so I just stick to those things that cause the least amount.... For me it is a question of degree, not a complete lack of nausea (or pain). There are many different triggers for nausea, but foods and drinks are the usual suspects. Response to medications and neurological causes are some others, and also having gastroparesis (stomach empties abnormally slow). Kim M. SCD 5 years > > Do avocados contribute to nausea?
