Guest guest
Hello Sharon, I am so sorry to hear about your other cancer. Did you take any estrogen blockers such as Arimidex or Tamoxifen? Keep us posted and I will say a serenity prayer for you. Guest guest
Sharon, Sorry to hear of your recurrance. I don't have liver cancer so can't share any info with you. But, I wanted you to know that you are in my prayers. You CAN do the chemo - I can't say that it's easy by any means, but it can be done and you'll get through it. Please keep us posted and stay strong. It's got to be the scariest thing, what most of us fear - but know that we are all praying for you. Guest guest
Hi, Sharon - No, we don't get as much info here as the Americans do. My oncologist said as much when I asked him about my cancer. After my needle biopsy, when they told me it was cancer, they told me my cancer was oestrogen-sensitive, and not Her-2 sensitive (so herceptin was irrelevant), but that was all. I only got the rest of my details after 11 months of chemo and then a mastectomy - I got my copy of the path lab report and it had all the details in it. I'm sorry to hear you have cancer again, in your liver - I don't know anyone else with that, so can't help there. But http://www.cancerbackup.org.uk/Home is an informative site - put " liver " in the search box, and loads of references come up. Bye for now, Margery. ============================================ margery@... in North Herts, UK ============================================ > hi from sharon in uk > > hi all i joined awhile ago but havent posted much but i think i need > some info > 3years ago i had wide insicion lumpectompy followed by radiation ,no > lymph node involvement and last mammogram was clear .Im afraid we over > here in the uk dont seem to get as much info as you seem to over there > and maybe i didnt know the right questions to ask > over the months ive been feeling tired but couldnt pin point anything > in particular, bloods showed slightly elevated liver enzymes ,so a > ultra sound was done > subsequently ive been diagnosed with liver cancer,i see my oncologist > on wednesday with a view to starting chemo asap ,are there any other > ladies on here syffering from liver cancer , > just need some info and advice please > > sharon in the uk > > > > > > >
