Hello Whitney and ,Sorry for the late reply Whitney but i am not really master of my time lately because i gave birth 7 weeks ago to a beautiful baby boy so i am overoccupied with breastfeeding and taking care of him and takingc are of my scd food in meantime so i have little time left to check mails and answer them. So yes, i didn't have time yet to notify the list about arrival of my son and perfect SCD pregnancy, wonderful natural birth, and even now while breastfeeding while on SCD i realise it is a wonderful diet because my son is growing and taking weight extremly fast and on top of all, even i took on some weight on after birth (which is good because while pregnant i really had a problem to gain some, in fact all i gained was the weight of the baby).

Now back to France. So brands of yogurt, i use Laitiere natural yogurt or Malo natural yogurt. I prefer Malo because it is really the most natural that we find in France (only milk and yogurt culture bacteria - not acidophillus though). Laitiere has some milk powder in ingredients so it gives more creamy and less tart yogurt but i prefer Malo and my second option is Laitiere. As there is no acidophilus i usually mix some yogourmet starter that i order from Lucy because i make yogurt in Excalibur so if i make 4 liters of yogurt i tend to  put 2 Yogourmet starters and 2 natural yogurts. That way i get some acidophilus and at the same time my stock of Yogourmet starter doesn't diminue too fast.

Juice. I buy Tropicana Pure Premium orange juice (it exsists also grapefruit (pamplemousse) and some otehrs but i buy only this pure orange juice). I don't buy often grape juice, if i do i buy it bio-shops (like Biocoop). I found a brand of apple jucie that is legal, quite expensive but very good. I am not sure all stores have it and i can't recall the brand but the particularity is that itis always in the departement of fruits and vegetables and not with other juices.

As for wine, since SCD i don't drink it because even before i drank very occasionaly so i didn't bother to make a study on wines when beginning SCD. I did ask ly husbands uncle and aunt who are wine producers here in France and they coudl give me no wine at all because they put sugar everyone to meet the norms to sell it under certain brand. SO i stopped there but as otehrs said, if you search for wine with high alcool content maybe it shoudl be ok. But i really can't give advice on this matter

Congradulations on your new baby! That is such wonderful news!

Thankyou for the yogurt information-- that was one thing i was trying to figure

out because they do not specify the types of bacteria on the box like they do in

America.

Thanks for the help.
