Guest guest Report post Posted March 9, 2001 I too, am sad to hear that has this disease. As for anyone with or without chronic pancreatitis taking meth for pain...well in my opinion, I don't think that stuff is good on anyone's body! I have never tried it, but have dealt first hand with what it does to ones body and to their family! My teenage daughter became severely addicted to meth 2 years ago. She was not herself....she became very violent, lost way too much weight, had severe nosebleeds, lost all interest in school; her other friends; and her family. She ended up being arrested and court ordered to rehab. She has been in rehab 3 times now. Before she started using meth, she was so different. Meth WILL mess you up...let alone our pancreas! Someone said in here awhile back that the pancreas was a " touch-me-not " organ. I agree with that 100%. It is very sensitive to food...just think what meth would do! I hope and pray that gets the help that he needs. Just my 2 cents worth! Take Care, Tammy from IL
