Somewhat OT - Burning Mouth Syndrome

When I started SCD in December, eating a banana would sometimes cause my tongue

to feel a little tingly. Then in March, I ate a tiny bit of cashew butter which

caused an allergic reaction, major tingly tongue being one symptom. A short

while after that (a week or two), I started having problems with my tongue and

the back of my mouth feeling like they've been burned. It's kind of off and on,

but occurs more often after I've eaten or drank something. Initially, I thought

it might be related to the water filter, because the burning seemed to happen

more after drinking water or green tea. But now, the burning is becoming more

frequent (it even felt burned after eating yogurt this afternoon).

Upon looking around the net, I found something called Burning Mouth Syndrome

that fit my symptoms pretty well. Only problem is, it's very hard to diagnose

why a person has burning mouth.

Has anyone else had this problem when they started eating SCD? If so, did you

discover a cause? I'm really hoping that I haven't suddenly become intolerant to

a bunch of foods that I was previously fine with.

Oh, and I haven't added any new foods for awhile (I eat a rather monotonous

diet). The only thing that has changed is that I ran out of my old Vitamin E

(Nature's Valley) and started a new brand (NOW) towards the end of March, and I

ran out of my Magnesium Malate (Source Naturals) and started taking Chelated

Magnesium (Bluebonnet)around the beginning of April.
