Hello all out there,

That message for Marla I didn't state that if her family moved down to Texas it maybe her husband has a better paying employment offer and/or better insurance benifits. I was thinking this might possible be the case after I was about done writing it. This would be examples of "pro's" of moving down there. Where I was at Altus A.F.B; Altus, Oklahoma it is only about 90 miles to the northwest of the Sheppard A.F.B.; Wichita Falls, Texas so weather is basically the same, a dry heat of weather for most of the summer. When I first went down there it took some time to get used to the heat. Growing up in Michigan summers could have temperatures in the low to mid 90's about the most but most of time it's in the 80's. People who live all there lives in the south such as Texas and it get's to up to 115 degrees they say, "What's the big deal". Because temp's like this happen basically every year. Conversely years ago people would say, "What's the big deal" there in Montana where it has

been 60 degrees below zero because such temp's have happened time to time. It's all just realitive to what you've been use to growing up or living in a certain area for a long time. You could say this line of thinking to where there's alot of snow some years such as the Lake Tahoe, Nevada for example. 800 inches of snow which is 66 feet of this snow has happened out there in that part of the U.S. and those folks may think, "What's the big deal" because this has happened in some years. See those folks out there are used to big snow years because this sort of thing as probility going on since the beginning of time.

Marla, if your family does move down to Texas and the "rest of your helpers" wish to go on a skiing trip, there are number of places there in New Mexico to visit. The most famous is Taos Ski Valley there on Wheeler Peak the highest elevation there in New Mexico. I was only there once when I went on one of my ski outings when I was in the U.S.A.F. I believe that they still don't allow snowboarding there. One of perhaps only five in country that still don't snowboard-

ing. Angel Fire Resort is another one and is more of gentle slopes place compare to Taos Ski Valley.

I still remember going to such places amoung other places like it happened today. Back about heat now. When I was in the service going over to the Philippines took getting use to. Right before Thanksgiving Holiday that year there was an late fall snowstorm in Michigan. I had to leave for California a few days after this snowstorm at 19 degrees and when got out to San Fransisco it was in the 60's. When I arrived there in the Philippines it was 92 degrees and because this is so close to the equator it must have felt like 112 degrees. Yeah it got some getting use to of the "COLD" temperature at night getting down to say 70 degrees!!!!

A final word about this. If you live down there it will take some getting use to the overall warmer temperature in a given year, but this would be true for Cherokee if she lives up there in Alaska yearlong from living part or any amount in Arizona.

This sinus junk is driving me "NUT'S". Allergy medicine I take dries up my sinus for awhile and I have all this decongestive stuff going on. It's like dried up nose then runny nose, then I get take these pills that I have dry up for awhile then runny nose. Sometimes I get so congestive it's harder to breath. If sarcoid is in my sinuses this very well causing this mess going on. I'am not having pain to speak of except for a ocassional sinus headache.

Awhile back I said that I could see myself either dead, divorce and away from Kathy, or in jail. I admit now that I was stupid for saying that last part. I'am NOT ever going to do anything to get myself in jail. I'am just embarrassed and ashamed for stating that getting myself in jail.

Bye,

, with so much sinus stuff going on-- you may want to switch to Mucinex-- (Guafinsen) it has both the ability to let you breathe, but it keeps the gunk moving in your sinuses and upper bronchials-- so that your sinuses don't get infected or impacted. You can also use normal saline rinse-- 1tsp of salt to 1 cup of warm water, and then use a squeeze bottle to rinse each nostril-- the snot will come out the other nostril-- and then do the next side-- and once you get that out, do it nightly to keep them clear. It really, really works. You may want to use boiled water so that if there is chlorine in the tap water, it can be boiled out. Naturally, let it cool down before you make it into "normal saline." This is a super cheap way to make "sinus rinse."

As far as the issue of jail-- you're right, imprisonment isn't ever a good choice. But I can tell you this-- we've all felt the way you have. Sometimes, wanting to find a way to check out, is easier than dealing with getting up in the morning.
