Guest guest
Tigger, are your continued struggles due to not being on enough Armour yet, or are they related to the Fibro, no matter how optimally treated on Armour you are? So far, if I am reading everything correctly, Jamy and Lynda are saying the Armour improved the Fibro, but it's still an issue---pointing to the possibility that Fibromyalgia is a separate disease.....(as compared to CFS probably being untreated hypo). Janie > I would like to say there are times I feel good, but I can't... there are times I feel a little better or a little worse. I keep pushing every day to get through the day. My excitement this weekend was to be able to do " nothing " . Well, actually, I'm going to try to go for a bike ride later today. > Sorry I rambled. > Hugs, > Tigger
Guest guest
Tigger, have you been on 2 grains long enough to experiment increasing? There was a time that I thought 2 grains was my optimal dose. But I began experimenting and got up to 3 grains, 1/4 grain at a time, and it's been great. I know we are different, but it might be worth exploring? I've also had remarkable changes in my weight issues since I got up to 3 grains. I've never been terribly overweight, but neither have I been able to lose weight easily and keep it down, like I do now. Janie > Janie, I don't know for sure. I'm on 2gr of Armour. Most days I feel a little better, but it fluctuates so. I also wish I had a doc working with me. > > I had gastric by pass surgery in 2002 and never even came close to losing what I needed to. I've also gained 35 pounds since being diagnosed with the fibro and chronic fatigue. I have, however, been very overweight all my life. > > I just can't tell for sure at this point. > > Tigger >

Guest guest
Janie, actually I have been on two grains for awhile... not counting the day the dog at my meds. I'm also taking Delta 2.5 mg daily. I'm also wondering about absobability from the by-pass surgery. Also wondering if I wasn't on enough of the Armour because of weight. I'm so confused. Guest guest
Tigger, from my own experience both with myself and others I have been chatting his subject with, 2 grains is a very small dose of Armour. I am up to 5 and still probably need more, and that is with added T3 as I have problems from insecticide poisoning years ago. My 20 pound cat is taking 2 grains Armour a day and doing well on it! Guest guest
Tigger, I am thinking the absorbability won't be an issue if you are doing the Armour sublingually. As far as the two grains, you may certainly still be underdosed. If you feel comfortable about the amount of Delta you are taking, you could consider starting another rise in your Armour. And as far as weight, go by symptoms rather than weight. If you still have symtoms, no matter what you weigh, it can be a sign you aren't at your optimal dose yet. Guest guest
Tigger, if your doc gives you problems for self-treating when you were that bad off, you need a new doc. Janie > > The other thing is I'm afraid. I've been self medicating something she told me absolutely not to do. I just knew I had to try something though. Guest guest
Tigger, Take your Armour sublingually and you won't have absorption problems. But if you have been swallowing, and you switch to sublingual, I'd wait a few weeks before any increases. Blessings, Debbie K. Re: Re: FIBROMYALGIA---who got relief from Armour?? Guest guest
I'm taking 2.5 mg. of Delta. I live in Rhode Island. I'm wondering if the Delta is even being absorbed because it's enteric coated. I feel quite screwed up right now. Thanks, Tigger Re: Re: FIBROMYALGIA---who got relief from Armour?? Guest guest
I've been taking the Armour sublingually, right now I'm wondering about the Delta. It might just pass right through. Gastric by-pass people are not suppose to take enteric coated things or time released because the part of the stomach that breaks these down is gone. Any suggestions on the Delta? Guest guest
Hmmm really likes the Delta, but I have had really good luck with the Isocort. I chose it b/c it is dessicated adrenal cortex. I was about to try the Delta, but then was able to see doc Milton so am waiting to see what he says now. It is not coated plus I some have posted that they do it sublingually. Blessings, Debbie K. Re: Re: FIBROMYALGIA---who got relief from Armour?? Tigger I'm taking 2.5 mg. of Delta.
