I love chocolate, sweets (candies?) and biscuits (cookies?) too, and the dairy-free diet keeps me away from most of those ... maybe that's why I lost weight?

I take a calcium and vitamin D supplement to make up for the milk and cheese I don't have.

I have noticed something odd - I have to buy expensive chocolate (plain, dark) to get one without milk products in it, but the cheapest biscuits (supermarkets' own brands mostly) are the ones without real butter.

I buy some soy products, but not much - just a chocolate flavoured "milk", and some little fruity desserts a bit like yoghurt.

I have learned to read labels very carefully! It's astonishing how many foods contail milk products. 8-(

Enough for now,

Margery.
