Guest guest
Any meds that are SCD legal that can be taken for allergies. My son has a really bad problem with oak trees. He stopped getting allergy shots last year because of the fillers in the shots. Are Patanol eye drops alright? How about Flonase nasal spray? I'd like him to go back to the shots, if we can figure out what his allergist can use that is SCD compliant. Anyone with any ideas? Guest guest
Hi There ...my boss ( an nd) uses " Method of Rapid desensitization" very successfully for airborne allergens ...it involves 6 differing ( increasing) homeopathic dilutions of the allergen put under the tongue every 6 minutes ( over 45 minutes) & it is well enough respected by the mainstream that extended health plans cover it! I get it done once every two years for my dust & mold allergies ... & am currently trying to scare up 45 minutes to do it for cats ...you do need to avoid the allergen for 2 days after --which involves super-cleaning your house, washing bedding, showering after coming indoors ( for tree allergens...i get it for pine pollen in spring too) in most adults it lasts ~ 1-2 years! & is $35 per item...here in Canada Omega labs from Quebec produces the dilutions ...perhaps you could find a practitioner near where you are. best of luck, Gisele
