Guest guest
Hi Lindsey, Coconut Oil works for me and I love it : ) I use it for pretty much everything (including a pre-wash before I shampoo that leaves my hair super soft & shiny!) I haven't had any problems with it in regards to my V skin, in fact I use it as a daily lubricant to keep things hydrated during the day. I haven't heard or anyone getting a yeast infection from it, but I'm dure if anyone has you'll hear about it. - (in Toronto) --- Lindsey wrote: > Hi, all, > I'm feeling better today...things got worse through > my period, then > better, then I had s-e-x and worse again. Guest guest
HI Lindsey ..... The cocoanut oil is wonderful and I hope it doesn't bother you... so is the EMU oil.. but......hon if you have LS and I think you do please please reconsider any surgery for that.. Honestly I know you haven't been with us that long but if you know Devon the doctor who's on the LS group.... she had surgery and if you want to hear someones story of the pure hell she went thru even being a doctor and she'd tell you too to NOT do that. Or only as a very last resort and if the urethra were being blocked for instance. I'm speaking here for those with LS and not other vulvar pain..(and even there as a last resort too) because with LS it will most generally make things even worse. *sigh* and can trigger the Koebner phenomena. whereever there's trauma or a cut etc.. the LS will show up again in that area. Even with grafts that were done in a study... taking healthy thigh tissue and grafting that to LS vulvar skin and vice versa? The healthy tissue turned to LS... while what was LS & grafted to the thigh turned healthy. Dee

Guest guest
Thanks so much, Dee. I don't have LS thankfully. But I do have vestibulitis/vulvodynia. Elavil has helped a lot, and I am able to have intercourse but for about two days afterwards I am in a lot of pain. I know that is A MILLION times better than a lot of gals out there, and I empathize with them, but I want NO PAIN after sex. I am going to try extended diflucan hopefully (if my MD oks it) because I felt almost 100% better after taking it. I've also used coconut oil, yoga, and am starting physical therapy and acupuncture. But I'm telling you, if things aren't better by this time next year I am seriously considering surgery, which is SCARY. Guest guest
HI Lindsey... thanks hon for clearing that up for me that you don't have LS... I know there's another gal that starts with L that does.. Ummm my brain sometimes. Maybe it's ? Forgive me, and I still hope you don't have to have that surgery... and just pray you find something that can help in the meanwhile. Hugs honDee~ PS... just a quick reminder for one and all that if the subject itself changes to try to remember to change the SUBJECT line too with keywords. I'm 'off list' for a little break and on NO MAIL right now... (just too too much going on and too overwhelmed with mail I can't keep up).... but I was having 'group' withdrawal pains, *grin* and I just 'had' to go to the Home page to see what's what. *smile* And goodness what a difference it makes when trying to scan a lot of them where the subject line had NOTHING to do with the matter inside. So it sure would be appreciated. Many thanks! Dee PPS: I'm trying the Beta version from the Home page in sending this and hope it's not too large at a 4. point Arial? We''ll see and if it is, duh... OH well.
