I have a request from a journalist who is currently working on a story

related to uterine fibroids and, in particular, uterine artery

embolization. This story will appear in a major women's magazine in

September and the journalist is particularly interested in interviewing

women who meet the following criteria:

- ages 25-35

- African American

- mother who also had fibroids (or sister or other significant family

member)

- does NOT live in the NE part of U.S. -- west coast, midwest, or

southern states preferred

- possibly willing to use real name in story.....

- possibly fertility at issue

- possibly interested in embolization as your treatment - but if you

haven't decided on a treatment yet that's okay too

Please email me at cdionne @ earthlink.net (only without the spaces

before and after the @ symbol) if you meet the above criteria and would

be willing to participate in an interview with this journalist. Send me

your full name, address, contact information and the time frames that

would be appropriate for the journalist to contact you.

Thanks!

answers allow our souls to see beyond the shade of darkness and let the

sunshine in.
