I do not consider this a large transient change. Some of the things that

could be responsible are:

1. The dawn effect (the body changing it's condition by making hormones etc.)

2. Exercise during that time.

3. Meter variances.

If similar changes occur every day, I would say it's the dawn effect.

Ruby, meters have a +/- accuracy factor of 20%. That 15-point difference

fits easily into that area, so I wouldn't worry about it.

Ruby, meters have a +/- accuracy factor of 20%. That 15-point difference

fits easily into that area, so I wouldn't worry about it.

Ruby: this is the dawn effect--your body is preparing for the day &

NEEDS fuel. Unless you give it some immediately, your kindhearted liver

will dump suger into your bloodstream.

The best way to defeat this is to eat as soon as you get out of bed or

you might even want to keep something (I used a handful of nuts) on your

bedside table & eat these as soon as you waken. You might also try

taking your morning dose of Metformin before you get up. This shd help

keep the liver quiet till you get up.
